Cagney won the Breed over specials at the Mission Circuit shows in May 2008 under judge. He easily finished his championship with four majors and several breed wins. Cagney was Winners Dog at the Briard Club of Northern CA Briard Specialty in November of 2007. Cagney is a beautiful example of the breed with a lovely outline, nice head, correct proportions and beautiful foot timing. We are anxious to see what the future holds for this fine young dog.
We acquired Cagney from friend and long time Briard breeder Terry Miller with the intention of adding his pedigrees to our breeding program. Cagney is a tremendous asset in bringing to us lovely breed type, stable temperament and a pedigree full of strong hips.
After finishing his championship at such an early age ( with 23 points and 6 majors) we wanted to keep him in the ring and going to dog shows. Our daughter asked to use him for Junior Showmanship and the beautiful connection between them could not go un-noticed. Cagney and KayCee have been successful in the Junior ring and Cagney continues to show us what this amazing breed is about: loyalty, strength in character, smart, devoted companions.
